I’ve been to the Wildflower on two separate trips and have had two really different experiences. First off, if you go on a weekend expect more crowds and a longer wait. Wait staff is a little more hurried and curt. This was a drawback to me because who likes to wait. The second time I came on a week day right when they opened. The service then was very fast and friendly. They refilled our coffee twice which was good. I had a short stack of pancakes (2) with egg whites and the pancakes were awesome. They were Ffuffy with little crunchy bits around the edges. My husband had the breakfast special, chicken fried steak, which was huge (he couldn’t finish it). The breakfast was averaged priced, especially considering its a beach town dependent on tourism. I really love the ambience of the restaurant which has a very cozy, homey atmosphere to it. Overall, I give it a positive recommendation.

Always delicious, always a pleasure. Cannot stress enough that this is one of the best places in town. Try the french toast for breakfast or the halibut for dinner!

I ordered the Alfredo with Bay Shrimp with a side of bisque. The Alfredo was, to say the least, perfect. It was fresh and flavorful. The bisque was really good as well. The service was friendly, she even nice enough to give me a tip on making my own Alfredo.Everything is set in a small homey cottage atmosphere with lots of lighting. There are two separate dining areas, the one we were seated in was mostly windows with tiled floor. It overlooked a lush swamp area. It added to the experience.All-in-all I would definitely return, great place to eat. Highly recommended.

Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Will do again! Next visit. Be sure to get there early for window seat overlooking the river.
