Well Salem doesn’t offer a big selection of BBQ to choose from. That’s ok though. I love me some BBQ and this hits the spot everytime. Maybe it has something to do with there sauces. I’m a sauce guy and I think they have six to choose from. Anyways ribs are great, pulled pork is good, brisket is ok. (Oregon BBQ company in Albany has great brisket.). There sides are pretty good as well.

It was our last night in Oregon and my cousin decided to buy a whole bunch of food from Adam’s to give us the chance to try some BBQ before we fly out to New York. Instead of eating there we decided to take it back home and enjoy with the family. I was quite excited as it would have been my first American BBQ experience but I felt this might not have been the best representation. It was edible and nice but I found lots of dryness overall. I mean at the end of the day it was decent food but yea it just wasn’t mind blowing as I thought it was…. especially seeing so many shows on tv. The service was nice there and the restaurant felt quite cosy when we walked in. Probably not something I’d look for if I’m back in the area.

Its pretty good, but…. They have pretty good pork ribs, good pork all around, but their sides definitely need some work. I’ve had three of them: cheesy garlic mashers, mac and cheese and the baked potato. The baked potato was dry and a little burnt, the mac and cheese quite possibly had literally, no cheese, at all. And the top of the dish was dried out like it had been sitting there for 2 hours. The cheesy garlic mashers had no cheese, no garlic, and were cold. This place may have won awards for their pork and beef bbq, but they need to take a serious look at their sides. Id rather go to Buster’s than this place, and i feel dirty for saying that but at least i can get better mac and cheese there.

Fair. I ordered the low carb special. I thought going healthier with veggies. The vegetables consisted of red onions, red & green peppers and about 3 small zucchini coins. I was disappointed there wasn’t more zucchini, and all the vegetables were floating in oil. There goes my healthier attempt. I ordered the brisket but I think I got the tri tip as it was shredded and very messy to eat. Flavor was good but a bit over done. The portion size was very generous. Unfortunately I was very thirsty for the rest of the day. Might give it another shot as it could have been an off day. Also, the help was less than friendly.

Terrible food.. My first experience with the place after reading favorable reviews here. Ordered the pork rib supper. If the Oregon people thinks this mess is something like St. Louis ribs, I feel great sorrow for all of you. The food was terrible. The rib were cold, very tough and maybe uncooked. The fries were shrivelled, burnt and were NOT going into my belly. Once too many times into the fryer I guess. The texas toast was a brick and I didn’t have the courage to try the potato salad. I left it unopened. Although I will never eat there again, I hope you have better luck.

Great Christian atmosphere, super yummy homemade sauces, and nice iced tea. The tritip sandwich was delist as was the potato salad, the briscuit however was very dry and overly sweet. The coleslaw was also very sweet. We will definitely eat there again.
