Salt to taste. I have been coming here ~ once a month for about half a year. The food is fresh and nicely prepared, except that it seems to be getting saltier and saltier. Couldn’t finish my last dish (a pizza) because of how salty it was. So ask for no or low salt.
Very Disappointed. We were all anticipating a great evening at one of Salem’s best restaurant for a friend’s birthday. We waited about 45 minutes before our order was taken and then another 1 hour and 15 min. to be served. Most of our food was not cooked well and some was cold. One person asked for extra vegetables and she got a pile of sauted onions on her salmon. In the end they spent another 30 minutes calculating our bills and kept our credit cards out of our sight for the 30 minutes! We will not return!
Fabulous!. The staff was very nice and helpful! Food was amazing and timing was excellent. Though the drinks took an hour to get to us the waiter took care of our appetizers for us. The atmosphere is so romantic, sophisticated but yet very calm and inviting. Drinks were also to die for!! A great place to dine!
Wonderful dinner place. After eating a number of times at Amadeus I would like to recommend it as a wonderful place for fine dining, wonderful drinks and exceptional service. The new location is great but should replace the chairs for higher ones.
First time at new space. Tonight was my first visit to the new space. One word: WOW! They’ve really made a beautiful space. It’s head and shoulders above their previous location. The only slight negative is the acoustics. It’s a little loud, but not horrible. They could benefit from some well-placed sound dampening. That being said, the new menu is fantastic and the food is superb! I had the Cassuela – a delicious melange of roasted pork and chicken apple sausage with seared pork belly topped with an apple and cranberry compote. The occasional sweet bites from the compote was the perfect pairing with the savory pork and sausage. DELICIOUS!My dining mates also reported loving their entrees as well.We will definitely be back! And a little gift with purchase – it seems that Salem-famous bartender, Rob has migrated from a nearby establishment and is serving up his famous cocktails here!!
Outstanding! Visiting from Portland we found this gym of a restaurant near our hotel. The menu selection was perfectly sized not overwhelming but also enough selection to please most palettes. The beef stroganoff was better than what I’ve sampled throughout Russia. The appetizers and salad were a perfect balance of local, fresh, simple ingredients. The drink selection was decent and the dessert was also very good
I had working lunch with 2 others and the food was wonderful. The staff was slow I understand the idea of it being upscale but lunch needs to be prompt and at a decent speed. But I ordered a mineral water and after that order soda water $5 for the mineral water a very high compared to all the other upscale restaurants in salem and then $1.95 for soda water. I have never paid for soda water. Will I go back maybe will I tell everyone I know about the cost compared to service and product yes. Was not impressed I’ll go to Orupa next time better service price and atmosphere.
