Amazing wait staff, miserable hostess!. We love going out for breakfast on Sundays! Annette’s was on the list this week! we’ve always loved the food, but it seems Sunday morning is not the best day to go! the hostess (who is there almost every Sunday) is always cranky! if not verbally then it’s visually. Her looks could kill! thankfully the servers are SO nice, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make the experience a delight. Food is amazing! if you can get past the front desk glares and snipes of the hostess you will have a great experience!
Came here for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday. I decided to get the Western BBQ burger with fries. It was okay, but they burned the patty to a crisp. The edges were almost hockey puck like. It was still edible because I like burgers well done but it was almost too much for me. However the cheese, and onion ring and bun made up for it.But it seems to me breakfast is their speciality because my sister got the Scooby Doo and it was HUGE and she thought it was excellent. Next time I am getting breakfast.
Good breakfast!. Good service, breakfast, and price! All the food was good but very buttery and pretty salty. Good good food though. If you order the B&G make sure to ask them to cut the buscuit in half. They put a whole buscuit that is not heated under gravy, kinda dry that way.
Nice Exterior Bad Food. Droped in because I liked the way it looked on the outside. Ordered a halibut burger and onion rings. Gotta give the place some credit for the rings which were tasty but the sandwhich was terrible. Why? It was slathered with sour bottled tarter sauce. Gross. Come on Annette! Any self respecting place will make their own sauces and salad dressings. It aint hard. This is one of those lazy places where the meals are assembled from pre-packaged and frozen ingredients.

Delighted!. We were in Salem for a couple of days to see the Olympic Trials and found Annette’s on Google. What a treat! They have the most beautiful salad bar I’ve ever seen and one of the best chowders I’ve ever eaten. My husband’s BLT was delicious. Fresh GOOD food, prepared scrumptiously. They get an A+ across the board from us. The service was great and the ambiance was very cozy. May be awhile before we get back to Salem, but we’ll definitely be headed to Annette’s as soon as we get to town!
Fresh food done right!! Friendly staff! Quick service! They must have a well oiled machine because we waited for nothing! They were on it! Great first impression! We will be back!!
