The food is good, service is horrible. I waited twenty five minutes for a salad to go and the ditzy register girl had it sitting on the counter beside her for about ten minutes before she realized it was mine. Hire some people with a brain and boobs and not the latter.
A coffee shop with a limited menu.. The place is a little bigger than its space which gives it a scrunched together closeness bordering on claustrophobic. I sat at a two chair table next to a makeshift partition separating the dining area from the kitchen which did little to dampen the kitchen noise. The music on the sound system struck me as being selected for the enjoyment of the youthful employees rather than that of the more mature clientele. I stepped to the counter and ordered a Club Sandwich ($7) and a cup of Italian Wedding Soup ($3). The Sandwich came on untoasted Whole Wheat Bread, sans the usual and unnecessary third slice. It came with Kettle Chips and a Dill Pickle Slice. It was good but the Mayo was much too liberally applied making for a messy eating prospect. (No knife and fork were provided.) The Soup was OK but the little Tapioca-like Pasta Pellets were overcooked to mushiness. On scales of 1 to 5 I’d rate the food a 3, the service a 3 and the ambiance a 2.Note: They do not accept American Express.
