All I can really say is YUM! This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, hands down. Give China Gourmet a try, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. It’s not oily and heavy like a lot of Chinese food is, so you don’t leave feeling sluggish or lethargic. My favorites are the broccoli chicken and the fried rice! Keep in mind the building is very small, so on the weekend you might have to wait a bit to get a seat.
Pleasant surprise.. We have few options for Chinese food in Salem. This little place was a pleasant surprise. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The server was eager to please and help with suggestions. Reasonable prices. Food came quickly. Nice atmosphere. The waitress even chased me out to my car with my leftovers that I forgot on the table. Generous portions. I especially liked my crispy pot stickers
You have got to be kidding. Awful will never return.. bad fried rice, would not call it fried rice.. terrible
Good service, bland food.. The service was perfect, but the food was bland. It seems they tried to hide this with a lot of salt, overall the food was ok at best.
Very nice atmosphere. The food was fabulous. I spent more than I usually spend for lunch and for the first time ever we had no leftovers. Menu is rather slim. Daughter asked for tea and when I reiterated it I meant for me also as in a kettle but she got one mug and it was unique in a bad way. Sadly we won’t be back.
The employees were very friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the compliments end. The food was very greasy and mostly sauce. Based on the reviews, I was excited to eat here. Gross food and won’t be going back.
