It is an enchanting setting that glitters with the promise of an exceptional evening: a handsome curved bar, music playing and all warmed by a full house. Nice! Our server was personable and prompt – helpful and interested in doing what she could for us. But … the food!Basically a dishonest menu … what was described as burrata was not. (It is an Italian fresh cheese made from mozzarella and cream – the outer shell of mozzarella surrounds an inner texture of soft cream, a unique combination that is delicious). This cheese is always served at room temperature. The cheese that was served to us was just out of the fridge and more importantly not burrata. The flatiron steak,the special on the menu, turned out to be sirloin tip that was served as great lump of meat and not the carefully sliced juicy cut of meat we had ordered. This, was a menu full of deceit that in no way came across with the food that was ordered. We were unimpressed by a restaurant that clearly tried to impress by misrepresenting the quality of the food it served. Hard to stomach such blatant dishonesty. The restaurant trade was undermined and the customer was held in disrespect. Poor by any standard. We don’t ever write reviews – not our place to do so. But … really!
