Some things are worth it.. If you are looking for cheap cake- this is not the place. The baking is creative and decadent. Our whole family loves this place. We can’t decide and have to bring home several pieces to share. Having been there a number if times, I am certain that the negative reviews are written by a disgruntled ex-employee. It is possible that some people don’t like one variety-some people do not even like dessert (!!!!)Think for yourself – and give this place a chance. One of our favorite spots for an outing for dessert. If it wasn’t after hours. we would head over right now.
Perfect date night spot! My husband and I stopped here for a dessert on our date night! It was a hard choice because they have so many amazing looking desserts! I highly recommend it for a date night or girls night!
Good coffee. Some cakes are tasteless. Memo to reviewer who complained about moving to a smaller table: this isn’t Starbucks; so don’t spread your schoolwork out and hog a table.
Wow, Total shock. Me and my teacher from School went and had lunch today. We went to Gerry Franks because we knew they had good coffee and we could sit and work on school stuff. We bought food, drinks and dessert. I didn’t think we had been there to long but a woman came over and asked to move us to a smaller table because she had people coming in and did not want them to leave. The waitress boxed up my dessert. I didn’t say anything because I was in total shock. I’m not sure why we were picked out of everyone else, or if we were the only ones done eating. But I felt like we were basically kicked out. Maybe if we were dressed up like the other snobby people there maybe they would have let us stay. I have never eaten there before just picked up food and left. I guess as long as you just get food to go they don’t mind you, but don’t stay too long and eat.. I just cant see myself going back there. Sorry…
Delicious!. Absolutely delicious desserts… the best around! Also love their sandwiches… the tri-sandwich combo is superb. Nice, small, cozy atmosphere and great service. We love going to this little place.
Bipolar. The food was amazing at my first visit, rich and.savory. After that, though, I started finding the food to be dry and stale. I guess it happens and I like the resturant, but old-tasting food is really gross.
