Four thumbs down!. This place had been on my wish list for awhile. After our fourth attempt to try Tacos Mexico (Food Trailer) and finding it closed, once again, (See review) SWMBO and I rolled into Holland’s. The interior is much like a million other dive bars we’ve all been in. This rarely troubles me as I have found some remarkable food in such places. What does trouble me is total indifference by servers. There was a guy behind the bar and two of his cronies before it. Through the pass-through, I could see a cook. My wife and I seated ourselves in plane view of both. After some time passed with no acknowledgement, I began trying to catch the guy’s eye. He would not look at me. I then watched him pass between his buddies and the kitchen three times. My wife and I looked at each other. No verbal communication was necessary. We got up and left. I have a feeling this bartender is not making any new friends on behalf of the owner. Too bad. We’ll never know if the food’s any good or not!
