Superb yeast donut. Light, fluffy, LIGHTLY glazed as one should be and best of all… that nice subtle yeastiness you can only get in a properly fried bread dough-nut!
Not a huge selection but very fresh. Came in here around 11am and unfortunately they didn’t have much of a selection left. Not a single filled donut to be found. But the donuts I did get were really fresh and tasty. Would definitely like to go back earlier in the morning and try some more of their donuts.
WOW, NO NO NO. Stale all the way!! I actually threw my doughnut out and my 10 year old son didn’t even eat his…that says a lot right there!
65 years, being insufficient……. Time for me to complete this growing up thing, I ordered a cake donut with white icing and rainbow sprinkles. Perhaps I should mention that I have been a loyal patron of Daynight Donuts on S. Commercial Street for many years. The King offering I sampled today was very good but, despite other raves to the contrary, I think Daynight’s product is as good, or better. I’d really hate to have to live off the difference. Anyone who is not satisfied with either place is very hard to please.
Great Donut Place. We have been going there every weekend for months. The owners are really nice, the place is clean, and the donuts are perfect. There seems to be a lot of people who go in there to drink coffee, read the paper, or talk with friends.
