Delicious Lunch!. Three of us had lunch here today, and all of us agreed that it was yummy! I had half of a Turkey Jack sandwich with their Baked Potato Chowder. It was the perfect portion for lunch. The sandwich was made with moist turkey, jack cheese, and cucumbers to add a bit of crunch. The soup was fresh and tasty. The meal also included chips and a pickle. The other people ordered a BLT, and a chicken salad sandwich, which they enjoyed as well. I can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu! So happy to find a great place to eat right in my own neighborhood!
Anticoagulation Nurse. I love this place. The food is great my favorite is the Trees and seeds salad and the Turkey ruben sandwhich. There quiche is great also. Not to mention the wonderful desert bars and cookies. I’m very much addicted to the Ice tea even in the winter time. I keep trying to make some like it and I never quite get the right taste. The service is fast and freindly. I would recomend this place to anyone. Its so close next to the West Salem Clinic and we all go there and they even cater for us at times. Try it you’ll love it. A true deli delight!!!!!!!
Trudel’s Deli gets my vote!. Best Potato Salad I’ve had since eating at my Grams house!Had lunch here yesterday – not only did they serve me one of the best tasting Roasted Chicken Sands – but the Potato Salad was amazing.Only my Gramma’s could have compared.So glad someone really knows how to do it right!Thanks Trudel’s Staff.You have a fan here!Brad
Not sure why everyone loves his place. smell is awful (a place for food should smell good, right?) and the pasta salad tasted like old refrigerator. small size sandwiches (chicken salad) with lots of yucky dark meat. empty at noon. wonder why?went here cuz chuck likes it. chuck, did your tastebuds die?
I never made the association before……. But Trudel’s is a true deli. I guess I always assumed it was a family name! I wonder. This place does, and always has, sparkled with crisp cleanliness. Another interesting observation I made today is that they don’t age discriminate in their hiring practices. I saw employees from 20 something to 70 something and all had the eye twinkles of folks who are enjoying life and what they do. I had a Corned Beef and Swiss on Rye. It had a firm, fresh tomato slice and came with chips and a big kosher dill pickle quarter. The place was hoppin’ with only two or three tables empty. This is what Deli’s used to be before the term was diluted by every gas station with a Saran Wrapped sandwich taking up the title. My only wish being the sandwich could have been a little bigger.
