One of the best places to eat in Salem, I eat here often. I wish they didn’t change their crab puffs to bags of gold though, the crab puffs WERE the best around.

Not sure why I hadn’t been to Marco Polo in years before today because it’s already one of my favorite restaurants in Salem. I especially love all the vegan options. I ordered sweet and sour tofu and hot and sour soup. For $8.50 I got a TON of delicious food (enough to feed me for dinner too) and they even brought out complimentary desserts at the end of the meal. Will definitely be back and can’t wait to try other vegan options there.

Now I have to say, this is a good place! They usually don’t have that long of a wait to get in (if any) and I can always count on the General Tso’s Chicken to get me through my day (also try the Wanton Soup it’s amazing!) all in all it’s a very nice place. (Parking can be tough sometimes.)

So so glad I finally went!. An acquaintance had recommended Marco Polo but I was hesitant. How can a place with so many ethnic cuisines do them all well? A friend and I went finally went today. We sat in a booth overlooking a beautiful cherry tree in bloom. My friend had the cashew chicken and couldn’t stop talking about how fresh and good it was. I’m on a special program, so I made a selection off the extensive gluten free menu. There were several vegan options and I chose the warm rice salad with nuts and cranberries. It was a great choice. This place has it all–delicious, fresh food, variety, great prices, a pleasant setting and outstanding service. I will definitely go back!!!

The food was great! The atmosphere cool. Wish the service had been a little better though. Would go again.

Another great meal!. Last evening we had another great meal at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The food is wonderfully fresh, often made with local food, and always has an interesting variety of choices. I especially like that that they have a dedicated kitchen area for gluten free orders. The servers are friendly and attentive and the owners, Jackey and Cathay Cheung are warm, welcoming and gracious. It’s always our restaurant of choice and we recommend it to all of our friends.12 Jan, 2015Another great meal!. Last evening we had another great meal at Marco Polo Global Restaurant.
