One of my favorite places in Salem!. The fish tacos are the best, but I haven’t eaten anything here that I don’t love! Our office orders food from these guys all the time, and we love it!
Best cheap lunch in town. For about $5 you can get a good and pretty big taco salad. No better cheap lunch in Salem.
Yummy and authentic!. I love Mexican food but get really tired of the standard food you get in so many restaurants. This is a great little find. Awesome street tacos and great salsa. Authentic and fresh. It’s not super fancy inside, but it’s clean and comfortable. Definitely my go to place for Mexican food in Salem.
BEST FISH TACOS. The sauce on the fish tacos is amazing! Fried fish is cooked perfectly. Comes with cilantro onions and cabbage. The onions are not overpowering and I really don’t like raw onions. 5 bucks at lunch for 4 tacos (your choice of 8 meats) and a soda. Delicious
Delicious, inexpensive food. I go here weekly and have had their bacon, egg, and cheese burrito (for breakfast – so yummy!), the chicken burrito (which is flavorful and spicy) and fish tacos (lightly fried and topped with lettuce, purple cabbage and that amazing sauce). Not sure what the complainers are talking about in their reviews in terms of quality and flavor, they’re great. Yes, mealtimes are hopping here and the service can sometimes be slow, so plan accordingly or call ahead. It’s one of the few restaurants downtown that has its own parking lot – a great plus at lunchtime.
This place is inedible.. Went here with three co-workers for lunch. Two of us ordered nachos. They were incredibly small, cold and bland. Another co-worker ordered a taco salad. Not only was the clearly old and stale, but the pool of water at the bottom was disgusting. I left here hungry and decided to go elsewhere for more food, because the food here is so terrible.
5 tries and always RIDULAS waiting time. We have tried 5 times at lunch and its still too long at an average of 20 minutes after ordering to get your food. Today it took 40 to 45 minutes and like most working customers, I get one hour for lunch. It’s bad business to have it take soo long all of the time. I could have driven 5 extra miles to a competitor I know I like in my same one hour and back and had MUCH more time than 7 minutes to inhale my food. I wont be coming back here again for that reason and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Too bad they dont hire more help in the kitchen. The wait staff is great but again, they should have atleast one more. A waste of my time. It was a stressful hurry up and wait FOREVER experience.
