When there is a place like……….. Aiberto’s in town, I fail to see a reason, other than convenience (they’re in all sections of the city), to go to a Muchas Gracias. The concept and price structure is comparable the the ingredient quality at Aiberto’s is much higher. But SWMBO had never been to one and wanted to try it. She had the 5 Rolled Taco lunch with Salad and Guacamole. She thought they were better than the ones she had a Aiberto’s on our last visit there. Wonder of wonders! I had my usual Oregon Burrito which is a man-hole cover sized Tortilla wrapped around about a pound of gristly Beef, Potato Shoestrings, Cheese and Salsa.Carol’s lunch was $4.50. Mine was $4.80. The Oregon Burrito has crept up in price from $3.95 a year and a half ago +/-, then to $4.40 and Now to $4.80! Over a 20% increase. The ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful. If you remember the last, lonesome Bob’s Burger location in Salem, that’s where this MG is located. If you don’t have the time, inclination or gas money to drive to Aiberto’s, a Muchas Gacias will do.
