Chicken Italian Delight? Oh yes, delightful!!. A co-worker was leaving for greener pastures, so we decided to give him a little send-off at Orchards. Because we were a bigger group (10+) we had all decided on the menu ahead of time and called in an order. That way we could have our food ready right away. I must say, that worked out perfectly! When we got there, it was ready and served almost right away. I had the Chicken Italian Delight sandwich. It was fantastic. The bread was fresh and soft, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It wasnt dry or underdone. The seasonings were wonderful, it tasted like it had some roasted sun dried tomatoes and there was all kinds of melted cheese. It was a really great sandwich and the one other person that had that sandwich agreed with me. My lunch partners all had varying things, but some of the comments were that the Creamy Tomato Basil Soup was wonderful, the Spicy Cheesy Chicken sandwich was really good, but not terribly spicy (it looked amazing though), the bacon & mushroom cheese burger was great, the Chicken Fajita Salad was YUMMY and everyone loved the house chips. We did have one person in our party that was a late addition so she was unable to pre-order. She ordered when she got there and my only critique would be that it took about 25 minutes for her to get her Panini. But as we were still all visiting, she was still able to enjoy her meal.The ambiance was wonderful. The Orchard is done in dark hard wood in an almost European bistro look. The walls were decorated with what looked to be local art for sale. The lighting was low which lended an almost intimate feel to an otherwise industrial loft like space. The waitress was wonderful, quiet and unobtrusive to our loud and sometimes boisterous group. She also handled the 10 separate checks like a champ! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food delivered. I would absolutely recommend this place. But if you are on a tight time table, call your order ahead! That would work out wonderfully. Wonderful place, great food, will definitely be back!!
4 stars! love it. Have been eating @ OB since they opened. David & Kate are suburb hosts and the food is perfect everytime.We especially love their hummus, soups, wines, coffee….Tulley’s….mac&cheese!
Chicken pot pie and grilled pork chops. Both were excellent. Nice veggie side with pork, zucchini and asparagus. Special requests were handled with no problem.
Mike and Vicki – Corona, CA. Needed a place to eat while visiting family in McMinnville and checked out reviews on line for various restaurants. Orchards Bistro was the only one with consistently great reviews and it’s no wonder. The food was wonderful and our waitress was very kind. There were 4 of us and we each had a different entree – all were great. You locals need to keep this place in business! We
