It had been over a year…………. Since I’d been to a Subway. And, while my recent visit to Jimmy John’s was still fresh in my mind, I wanted to make a comparison. Today I had a foot long Chicken, Bacon Ranch on Herb/Oregano Bread with Honey Mustard Dressing, Provolone and all fixin’s except Iceberg Lettuce and Green Bell Peppers. It was an OK Sandwich, but Jimmy John’s Gargantuan for the same price gets the nod.24 Jun, 2011Cold Cut Combo………. Footer with everything but Bell Peppers on Italian Cheese Bread with a drizzle of Honey Mustard Dressing was this hungry guy’s pick today. I like a Subway Sandwich from time to time, even though the independent and locally owned Sub Shop in Keizer has pretty much owned my Submarine business this past year. This Subway diverges from the strip mall venue which seems to prevail in this town. Nothing else unique about it, but there are no unpleasant surprises here.
