A trendy foodie restaurant set in starkly modern room which is noisy due to lack of any soft surfaces. The service is upmarket and attentive, the food is fabulous. My Alaskan cod came with green beans, forbidden rice and a basil lime sauce. Each component had clearly defined flavors and textures. Very definitely yummy!

Perfect. Best overall restaurant experience in over a year! No joke. Seriously. If you’re in Salem or traveling through make sure you eat here! The food was absolutely taste bud tantalizing and they had wonderful VEGAN options as well which I consider to be a huge plus. Staff were easy going but very attentive at the same time. Prices were very reasonable as well and the atmosphere and interior style were welcoming, clean and inviting.
I wanted it to be good sooooo bad… But it was pretty awful. The salmon was not fresh, over cooked, and even watery, it was covered in a green sauce which compared in taste to Taco Bell guacamole. The beans were under cooked cold and lacked flavor. (That meal was $22) The mini cheese burger was a dry over cooked hockey puck. The fries were really soggy, and you could tell they are fried in cheap oil. … There were a couple good things. First the service was friendly, knowledgeable, fast. And we also had the pork belly lettuce wraps, very good, but about twice the price it should be. It was $9.00 for the equivalent of two strips of bacon (good freaking bacon though), two pieces of lettuce, and a half cup of pickled vegetables. Anyway, I am predicting this place will be closed within a year, unless they lower their prices, or start committing to their dishes. It’s a good idea, just not well executed. Get the fresh ingredients, use the nice oil, cook it right, do it all the way… And then it will be great.
Awesome Linguini and Prawns. I came expecting the recommendation we received on this place to be hyped but we were very happy with the delicious linguini we ordered. The halibut was a touch over cooked but that could be forgiven because the linguini was sublime. The service is outstanding: watchful but not overbearing. For dessert the vanilla por du creme is amazing. Can’t describe it. 5 star dessert!
Love TableFive08!. Perfect opening day July 1, 2014. Delicious food, very attentive servers, beautiful decor. I totally recommend this fine addition to downtown Salem, Oregon.
