Hey, great place to chill! Food is basic and good! Took the family and chilled outside and just had a good time. I also ate at the Full Sail brewery and Rock Creek has got them on the food but nothing compares to the Full Sail Beers. I can’t wait to eat at the Rock Creek Tavern again!
I am currently in the restaurant right now and was so disgusted by our service that I immediately had to right a review. Obviously understaffed there was a large line of peoe waiting to be seated when we arrived despite numerous tables open. I was in a party of two with a name on a list and a waitress comes to take the next person, skips over two groups including mine and then takes a while other random group!!! Why have the list if you’re just going to hand select?! In fact she didn’t even know there was a list to begin with! This restaurant is already ridiculous and I haven’t even ordered yet.
Great atmosphere, great food, great beers & drinks but slow, slow service
You never go to a McMennamins when in a hurry as the staff is typically less than quick. But, the beer, fries and food general more than make up for this. Rock Creek, in particular, is fantastic because of the location. No better place in Portland to grab lunch when the sun is out and the air warm!
Great country/camp type atmosphere but not run down at all. Great food. We loved it. Will be back.
Middle of nowhere. I started going to Rock Creek when I worked in Hillsboro several years ago. It seemed amazing (thanks to our strict urban planning lines) that you could practically be in the woods from officeville in 5 minutes. The atmosphere is the best, while the food, drink, and service are typical McMenamins.
