Typical Sonic. I have been to several Sonic Drive-In’s now and like I expected from a national chain the food is the same at all of them. To me Sonic food is very bland. But they always cook it hot and fresh and the help is always pretty good.
One of the better fast food joints. The grilled chicken/bacon/tomato sandwich was hot, fresh and juicy. The side of tots with secret sauce made it above the usual fast food experience. Add to that and the old time nostalgia of ordering and being served in your car makes Sonic my ‘mostest favoritest’ fast food stop!
There fries and fry sauce is great, like article circle. The rest of there food is meh not so great. Plus I went thru the drive-thru at night once and the worker kept talking bout mcds stuffing there burgers w/ earthworms, whether true or not it was highly inappropriate. Eat w/ caution. Oh there ice cream shakes aren’t frozen they usually come out one step away from milk not sure if that’s food safe.
Easy on/off I-5 freeway…. Since Hawaii has no Sonic Drive-In locations, stopping at the Wilsonville location to/from Corvallis is always a treat. Service is always fast and friendly…the food hot and tasty. Would definitely be back and recommend to friends…
