Looks like a hole-in-the-wall strip mall cafe but delivers high end eats. Great food served by charming and knowledgeable staff. Sushi, sashimi and large variety of special rolls, all beautifully created and served reasonably fast. Sushi Avenue also has great bento box meals and a tasty selection of cooked entrees- for those in your party who don’t eat raw fish.
How have I missed this place for so long?!. I’ve been driving by this place for years and never thought of going in because of location. Finally read all of the reviews and gave it a shot yesterday for lunch… Wow, absolutely wonderful food! The daily special,Hamachi Carpacio, was amazing and the spicy tuna hand roll might have been the best I’ve ever had. If you live in the area, or even if you don’t, you owe it to yourself to stop in. They have an extensive nigiri menu along with tons of custom rolls if you’re into that. Wish I had known about this years ago instead of going to that ‘other’ place across the freeway!!! 10/10
I love sushi avenue! This place had the best sushi in Oregon by far! It also has great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t forget to try the geisha roll it is soooo amazing! If you want amazingly mouthwatering sushi this is the place to go!
P.S.. I forgot to add the Geisha role is to die for and they have the best shrimp tempura I’ve ever tasted! Enjoy!14 Apr, 2011AMAZING. My friends and I have all agreed that we’d have a lot more money in our pockets if we didn’t spend so much money at Sushi Avenue every week. I have recently moved to Portland and I still drive all the way to Wilsonville for this meal. I have tried so many sushi restaurants and this is by far the best. Their food is so fresh and tasty and the service is excellent! If you like small friendly family owned restaurants with great service and excellent fresh sushi you’ll LOVE Sushi Avenue!
