Great Weekend lunch getaway!. My fiance and I head over to Wankers for lunch sometimes on the weekends! They have our favorite beer (Drop Top) on tap and honestly the best Chicken Strips I have ever had! They are not bland like a lot of chicken strips are, they are full of pepper and spice! The Tots are better than the fries! They have a great happy hour menu also! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing! Lots of things all over the ceilings to look at. In the summer they have outdoor seating, which is great! They have a fun menu! Be forewarned, their Nachos are absolutely humungous!!! They are at least a 2 person meal!!
I did try food a few weeks ago on a Friday. Service is good which is a rarity in Oregon. However the food wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Cheap eats tho.
Yes, Wankers is a bar. And, at times a rowdy one. However, the wait staff are friendly. The drinks are superb and the food is very good. For goodness sake they have a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches! Is it haute cuisine? No. Is it pretentious and snooty? No. Is it good food, great drinks and welcoming staff? Absolutely! I love Wankers!
Don’t waste your time or money. The peanuts weren’t the only thing I wanted to toss on the floor! Over-priced and sub-par waitresses to boot. Food looked good, but tasted bland and lacked quality ingredients. This place’s head chef honestly needs a Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmare makeover. I am all about locally owned restaurants – so it pains me to give a bad review, but it seems revenue is coming from the bar (meat market) – definitely not from food sales. If you are a Wilsonville local and have no other choices for sports bars, please kindly pass it on to the owners (i.e. anonymous suggestion) to work on the food quality. In the meantime, walk 30 feet to the Red Robin next door for burgers and beer. I dislike RR, but seriously – that’s how bad it is.
Great breakfast, portions just enough. Service fast & friendly. Glad to find a nice place in Wilsonville for a fresh yummy weekend breakie.
