Great Pupusas at El Torogoz. Went here last week when I spied the word Pupusa on the window and pulled in. The restaurant is very nice but it sure needs a sign to let people know it is a restaurant. Very clean, great friendly service, and did I mention that the Pupusas were of excellent quality. I highly recommend the pork filled Papusa. They are very affordable. For $9.00 I got two Papusas, a salad, and a drink. I also got two creme filled empanadas for dessert. They are a bakery as well as a restaurant and I highly recommend their baked goods as well. They also serve espresso. I suggested to the server that they should get a Kickstarter campaign going to fund the purchase of the new sign.10 Sep, 2014The Pupusa is unique to the country of El Salvador. It is like a corn or flour shell that gets stuffed with meat and cheese or vegetables and cheese. It looks like a flour flying saucer that has cracks in it with melted cheese oozing out. They are very good to eat and are served with a spicy vinegar laced cabbage salad called Curtido
