Breakfast at Denny’s – still a favorite. In a town that has very few decent restaurants, Denny’s is consistently consistent, with friendly and efficient staff (sit in Shelley’s section – she’s the best!) ne’er a wait to be seated, and food that comes out hot and well-prepared. I like the veggie omelet with turkey bacon. And the french toast is yummy and a good value.
Ok… I’m impressed. The $2 biscuit/gravy with one egg is not only quite good it is an outstanding value! I can’t make this breakfast for $2! Skip the $2 cup of coffee and have water and looky what happened… ordered TWO of them, had a big breakfast, left a 25% tip all for a measly $5! This is going to be my go to cheap breakfast for as long as this special dollar menu lasts!22 Mar, 2012Nice remodel!. Stopped in to take advantage of kids eat free night and found this location has been completely remodeled. Very comfy! Breakfasts are my go to choice when hitting Denny’s. In a word… adequate. Service was above average, look for Winona if you stop in at dinner. I did notice they have a single biscuit/gravy/egg special for $2. I plan to try that soon as it would represent a fine value if it is reasonably palatable!
