You Need to Eat at This Place.. Stumbled upon this joint and boy are we glad we did! Great backstory, pizza excellent– a one-size pizza solves all your problems! A wee bit pricey, but worth it because the pie was spectacular and the shuffleboard table is the best around. Terrific beers in the cooler and entertaining staff made for an all-around great December evening supper.
Stopped here on our way home from Florence. The pizza is REALLY good and the service is excellent. Super nice people!!
Sadly I was rushed. On one hand I am happy to stop in here and grab a bite to eat. On the other hand I was sad to not have had a chance to try the fabled pizza. The rest of the group either wasn’t hungry or didn’t want pizza so I made a quick decision to try a sandwich. The nice lady running the front suggested their latest creation. A barbeque pineapple pulled pork croissant with a side of tangy BBQ sauce. She said they went over well and I got the last one they’d made up. In my haste I only got a lackluster picture that doesn’t do it justice. The pineapple chucks provided a nice sweetness to a tender pulled pork filling and the sauce was sweet and tangy with no real heat but I sure liked it! (I would have taken a bottle home if they were selling it.) Looking back I had to scarf it down too fast to really let it sink in.They don’t have any outdoor seating but they are literally around the corner from Smelt Sand State Park if you so desire a pizza in the park. If not they have plenty of clean inside seating for those windy days. I will no doubt return here in the future with hopefully more agreeable company. Remember they are CASH ONLY but there is an ATM inside. Also the building a white with blue trim now. It’s no longer red! It’s not hard to miss but we managed to drive by…
Oh my god this place is amazing! We came down to work in Yachats for a few days and decided to give it a try. I will absolutely come back. Great pizza, killer atmosphere. A must stop!
Best Pizza. We were staying in Yachats for a few days. As we were headed out to Newport we saw your Pizza sign. I told my husband we needed to stop and check it out. I had read an article in the Register Guard not too long about it. Best choice we made! We were greeted with a friendly man, asking us how he could help us. He proceeded to give us a tour and hand us a menu. So friendly! Made us feel right at home. We ordered a pizza for lunch, delicious! Great crust,yummy toppings! We have spent most of our extra time in Yachats since I was 8 years old. My grandparents bought property up the North Fork about 8 miles up. We have never had a good place to order pizza and watch a Duck game. This will be the place from now on! We live in Eugene and spend our off time working on the property in Yachats. Simply Awesome!. Two adults, two kids on vacation in Oregon decide to have a quiet movie and pizza night. Find Outta Gas Pizza online and the reviews seem ok. Order the Deli Dave pizza and we were really surprised at how good it was! This is an outstanding pizza. I wish we had a pizza place like this at home! Staying a second day in Yachats and have decided to have another movie and pizza night… the kids demand it! Awesome pizza!.
Customer service. My son is at job corp and gave us the number for this pizza place so we could order him a pizza. My husband called to order it and pay with a credit card. The lady who answered the phone was very rude and said she didn’t want to deliver to the job corp center. When we explained that we were parents paying for it for our son she said now I am really not doing it. I don’t know what the pizza tastes like but the customer service stinks!
