They have a drink list that rivals any. The food is great, you will be given several meat substitute options including mushroom based sausage, tofurkey, etc. Lox is the only animal protein you will find.
Holy moly fantastic!!!!! GREAT personalities behind the counter, amazing food options…too many to name but from fresh bakery delights to savory breakfast sandwiches, you could eat here for a week and not get bored. Organic, fair trade, fresh roasted coffee… So many unique teas and espresso drinks, great atmosphere. We are coffee shop owners as well, and they are doing everything right!!! Will definitely be back whenever we are in this neck of the woods.
Coffee is good and roasted onsite daily. Really into my coffee and love visiting little local places that do it right. Interesting drink combinations on the menu with more milk choices then I’ve ever encoutered. Super cool. Pastries looked good and very reasonably priced but we did not have any. Pretty mellow in there so don’t stop if your in a hurry. We ordered 5 drinks total wih no one in front of us and it took about 20 minutes. We also purchased a pound of Dark roast Honduras beans and have enjoyed them. Would visit again for sure.
If you live in a place as homey, authentic, delicious and quality-oriented as the Green Salmon, you understand how lucky you are. The awesome Green Salmon is a true treasure on the Oregon coast.
A Must Stop!. I’m a coffee elitist which can make me hard to please. I’ve got nothing but great things to say about this little gem along the Oregon coast. They even had live music playing the morning I visited , I don’t like live music – but it was okay, he was actually good and I tipped him. Nice counter staff, I didn’t think the service was particularily slow considering there was a dozen people in line. I didn’t try the baked goods, but had planned to do so the next day – which is Monday and they are closed. But rest assured, the Green Salmon will be a regular part of my coastal itineraries in the future.
Great vegan scones. They make the BEST vegan scones. The scones are awesome! The soy lattae was Ok but it could have been the type of soy milk. I wouldn’t hang out here to eat my scone because of the crowd that does hangout here. Most of the people are hippies that have a very bad body odor to them. Lots of hairy arm pits and legs. Go there for the scones but leave quickly or tyou’ll pass out from the body odors.
Great Drinks. The Green Salmon is a cool hippie joint here in Yachats. Their drinks are GREAT! Lots of exotic coffee combinations, hot chocolates and tea drinks. I had a ginger coffee that was strong and delicious. My partner had a Cafe Bolognese which was something decadent and cocoa-y and so rich and good. Pastries were good. Food, ho hum. I probably won’t get more food there but I am sad they’re closed on Monday because I won’t be able to try another drink on my way out of town tomorrow.
