Always great food and service. We have been eating at the Anchor for years and have always been treated well by the staff. The burgers, chicken wings and fish are our picks! P.S. In regards to the last comment about the waitress just fyi, there is a waitress there that is hard of hearing and has hearing aids maybe that is what happened in that situation.
Very Snooty. We ate there today. Our waitress was pretty rude to us. My mother asked her to take a plate from our table and she deliberately ignored her request. (I could tell because she looked right at her and then walked away.) When you are in the restaurant business, rudeness is one thing that will cause people to storm out the door. While our food was satisfactory, I thought the service was pretty poor. I really wish I spoke to the manager about our waitress. They need to know when their staff acts in a way that really does sound like you are snubbing a customer!

Food is great and fairly priced, large portions, very friendly service with nice atmosphere, Dee Dee’s smiling face is always there the to greet you and make you feel welcome! I give the Anchor Inn my highest rating, *****, you’ll always leave happy!
They care about what they serve!. Everything is always up to par. The menu has a lot of choices. Over the years, I have had a lot of different things there. Everything seems to be prepared & served with pride. It is a family owned business that cares about their customers. They are quite busy on weekend evenings.
Always good food and service….. If you’re ever in the Natrona Heights area, or you’re willing to take a drive into the northern suburbs, stop by the Anchor Inn. My wife and I have eaten there and ordered take-out many, many times, and have yet to be disappointed. They make all of their soups and sauces, and specialize in comfort food. Their portions are always enough to fill you up and even have a little bit of leftovers to take home. The waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and knowledgable. It’s a clean, family owned restaurant where they know their regulars by name and they treat everyone as if they were part of the family. Give it a try you wont be disappointed, 2 thumbs up!!!!
Good food. Good value.. The food here is better than average and will not put to big a dent in your wallet. I always end up ordering the burgers. They are very good and well portioned. The atmosphere is down home welcoming with a full bar.
