Gone downhill. This place used to be one of my favorites, good food, great staff. However my last two visits not so much, appears new staff and manager, after waiting 45 minutes for our pizza, manager come to our table to state kitchen staff seemed to be having issues. I did not expect to have our meal paid for but may have been a nice gesture for maybe a drink on the house. Pizza arrived and was not worth the wait, our waitress was slow and did not care about the time it took for our food to arrive. Needless to say we do not plan on returning any time soon.
When I picked up our first pizzas they were burnt but after calling the manager Erin (sp?) She was amazing. She had two new pizzas delivered and she upgraded the size and gave us wings to apologize since we hadn’t gotten good service. We weren’t going to come back but after all she did we definitely will!
Delish!. The pizza was a bit pricey, but it worked out perfect when the waitress let us know that we could do half/half with the specialty pies. We ordered half eggplant marino and half philly cheese steak. Both were good, but if you like eggplant definitely go for the marino. It was to die for in my opinion! We also tried the order of meatballs. The sauce was delicious, but we thought the meatballs were just okay. You can’t order a small pizza for dinner, but we saw on a table ad that there was a very reasonably priced lunch menu. I think it was 7.50 for a small, personal pizza and drink. There were also some sandwich options available only for lunch. I’ll definitely go back for lunch!

Highly recommended. Anthony’s is a must try. As a Chicago native, I have a huge appetite for pizza. When I moved to Pittsburgh, I was disappointed at the pizza places I was recommended. When I came across Anthony’s I was pleantly suprised at how much I enjoyed it! The service at Anthony’s is always friendly and even when it is busy they take the time to recommend their favorites. Their wings set them apart, and when its your first visit there, tell your server. Each person will get a wing to try for free! I was also there celebrating my birthday once and the server brought us his favorite pizza at no charge! I have brought many friends and relatives to Anthony’s and plan to continue to!
I took my first trip to Anthony’s today and thought it was fantastic! It is a different experience as far as pizzas in the area go, but I was impressed. The wings and the cauliflower pizza, (suggested to me by our waitress, Valerie, who also did an awesome job), were fantastic. I will definitely be back.
