Happy hour. Am a frequent customer at Blue for the past few years but am a bit disappointed in the new happy hour items. Always loved the calamari and hummus and bruschetta. Was at Blue the other night and has the calamari and hummus. What a difference. No longer has the sauce on the calamari and the hummus was not as good. Not nearly the same amount of pita or hummus. Why change a good thing! Did not have the bruschetta that night but was told by another customer that it was not as good. I will continue to go there because the customers and bartenders are very nice. You always meet nice people there but I wish they would not have changed anything.

Poor, poor service.. overpriced and noisy !!!!. Don’t waste your money here !!! Go somewhere else where they care about customers and customer retention. The food is overpriced, the drinks are expensive and the place is noisy……….The manager has an attitude and has no idea how to handle customers…Will not go back and will make sure I pass the word along to all I know that this place is poorly managed. There are too many places that will cater to you when you are spending $100 ++ for diner to put up with this kind of arrogance..

Underwhelmed. Two of us gave Blue a try on a Saturday night. Service was great, food was mediocre. I think it’s more of a bar scene as it’s pretty loud and it looked like fun over where the drinks were being served.Ordered two appetizers, Spicy Calamari and Mediterranean Tasting. The former was pretty good, but it was strange that the olives were served hot.The calamari itself wasn’t bad, but it was covered with a Chinese sweet sauce and there was nothing spicy about it.I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with black garlic risotto, baby vegetables, saffron cream and balsamic reduction. Risotto is always a gamble, but I figured if the entree was $28 they would know how to cook it. Wrong, it was sticky, under seasoned and the reduction was burnt. My friend had the salmon, he said he could do better at home on the grill.I’m not interested in eating there again. It’s overpriced for what’s served.

We went on a whim to use a restaurant.com certificate and were pleasantly surprised. We had a server on her first day(Alena) who was attentive and friendly. I ordered the farm chicken which was tender and juicy and my guest had the sea scallops which were also great! We ordered the chocolate mousse cake and OMG was it good. The food portions are on the small end, but the dessert was huge…definitely large enough to share. We’ll be back!

Outdated and blah Girls n…. Outdated and blahGirls night out last weekend. We decided to stop here first. This place is similar to a strip mall coffee house but for a bar and restaurant , it resembles a large closet. Our appetizers were dry and overpriced as were our martinis. The crowd is def over 55. I don’t think I would come back

Not long for this world. I remember Blue when it first opened about 5 years ago the food was exceptional when Ron Delucca was part owner and chef. Kim is like a friend and still is a decent bartender when hes not hung over. I went there for several years and food quality began to drop off when it was bought by the owner of the Pizza Shop next door that was since closed due to back taxes. Everything has has seriously deteriorated and just driving by almost everyday to work, the place is nearly almost empty… prices are erratically priced. $11.25 for a martini is a bit much and the food is the same cost basis as some of the top places in Pittsburgh and no way is it as good… .especially in an old strip mall from the 60s thats partially vacant
