Fabulous dinner. Went out to dinner this evening and decided to go local but a little more upscale than the usual. Our dining experience could not have been better. Great appetizers, wonderful entrees, and outstanding service. Hopefully the word will travel and business will continue for these folks. Would go back tomorrow if I could. Highly recommend the crab cakes. Salmon oscar was out of this world too. Five stars for Tables on the Green.
What a great place! A hidden gem! I wish more people knew about this place. The red fish is great. The service was impeccable. We were waited on by a pretty woman, Betty, who was nothing short of outstanding…very attentive, welcoming and knowledgable. Must go!
Excellent experience. We took our family here for lunch and couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was great, and the lunch prices were also very reasonable. Tucked away in the corner of a residential area, the atmosphere was lovely and quiet. Not only was our lunch experience great, but my mother-in-law lost her ring and thought it might have been at the restaurant. I called, and an employee immediately went looking for the ring and called back 5 minutes later saying she had found it in the bathroom. What better customer service is there!? We were extremely pleased with our entire experience.
Just Try It!. Great food, great staff, beautiful views of the golf course as you dine, wonderful experience! You just gotta go try it for yourself.
Lunch at Tables On The Green. Had a great lunch yesterday at the Tables On The Greens with two of my co-workers and we all loved it. I high recommend the Reubenski Burger, it was fantastic and I left stuffed for only $ ten.
Excellent experience. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner . The atmosphere, friendly greeting and professional service along with the outstanding food all contributed to an excellent dining experience. My wife’s salmon had a wonderful sauce and was prepared exactly as she likes it. My gumbo was very good and the red fish had a perfect sauce and was exceptional. The experience was totally enjoyable. The only disappointment was the failure to offer bread.
AK Valley has Cajun!. We call ourselves 5 Star Diners, and we travel the Greater Pittsburgh area, sampling the restaurant fare. We have found a unique, delicious cuisine at Tables on the Green (formerly Brackenridge Country Club) in Natrona Heights. Executive Chef Chad Redecker, whose impressive credentials include Pentagon chef and assistant to Emeril LaGassi, brings Cajun twists to Pittsburgh diners. The A-K valley can really use a fresh, new eatery considering the plethora of corporate restaurants.Grits and crawfish ingredients did not draw me to the site, but my companions convinced me that a new experience would not disappoint. Understatement! Our sumptuous appetizers of fried green tomatoes with crawfish cream, shrimp and grits, and grilled romaine salads nearly fill our waiting bellies. The best was yet to come with mascarpone asparagus ravioli, crab cakes, French seared chicken, pecan encrusted red fish, and Skuna Bay salmonour plentiful, scrumptious entrees. Though we had other plans for dessert, we ordered the New Orleans Bread Pudding. More yumminess. We all share our dishes and made an evening of pretending to be gourmands. Our comments on taste and presentation all ranged from superlative to fabulous, noting originality and finely tuned ingredients. The Cajun style-dishes were artfully displayed with a surprising range of delicate flavors. We called out Chef Chad to grill him on preparation and food purveyors. He was more than willing to tell us about everything from golf coast shrimp to the cutting techniques and preparations used with the Skuna Bay salmon. He was obviously proud of his use of fresh components.Had we not had other plans, we would have stayed to enjoy the jazz and tapas in an adjoining room. Maybe next time.
