This place is known for their award winning pizza. I have tried their pizza in the past and it is good. Recently I tried their wings to go. I ordered the Buffalo Romano flavor and they were tasty. I will try other flavors in the future.
My wife, brother, and sister in law visited Caliente’s last night after a workout at Hartwood Acres. We use to occassionally stop there when it was Ken’s Wings and six pack several years ago. They have done a nice job updating the decor in a very small place. The waiitress was excellent. She was prompt, informative, and very pleasant. They have daily specials on alcohol and food. Last night was wing night. The wings were .50 apiece which is a little steap compared to the good old days, but I know the price of wings have gone way up. I ordered the Thai wings on the advice of our waitress and they were excellent. Flavorable and cooked to perfection. I also ordered 3 Jack and Diets which were only $3.00. Along with wings our table ordered a pepperoni pizza. They crust was very good. However, the pizza itself was onlyslightly above average due to the lack of flavor of the sauce. All in all it is definitely worth a trip to this cozy establishment. The pluses were definitely our waitress, wings, and drinks specials. We will be back!
