Breakfast is great but agree with other reviews that the owner, cc, is miserable and can make you feel unwelcome. Don’t attempt to talk to her. Place is run down and ladies room involves a long trip down 50 rickety steps.
Just when you think it would be hard to mess up breakfast CCs proves that’s not the case. Soggy bagel bun, lunch meat ham, I couldn’t eat anymore than a bite. I will say that the potato pancake was phenomenal! Staff was friendly as well. Wouldn’t recommend.
Decent food lady is miserable. Never open when they’re supposed to be.
I first went in here back in 2008 with my daughter. We were looked at funny and could sense we weren’t welcomed. Never had that experience here ever…I just never went back. Heard they had good soup but I guess I will never know. We walked out.
Classic Diner food where it’s a mix of good and bad. Overall its a great classic atmosphere.
Super cute, cozy homestyle restaurant that is hard to find nowadays. Delicious potato pancakes. Very clean and fast with friendly staff. I’d go here any day over pamela’s or a corporate place.
Well, it’s someplace to have breakfast. If Pamela’s is too crowded, but it’s kind of skeevy and strange, like you’re at someone’s grandmother’s house and you’re wondering if she actually brewed the coffee or if it’s Sanka.One huge plus, however, is their cinnamon rolls are outstanding. Get one and take it across the street and get a great cup of coffee. 🙂
