Della Sala’s Pizza is terrific!!. The casual customer may not know that this classic, family-owned carry-out pizza restaurant is following a meticulous recipe, makes it all from scratch using premium ingredients, and is unchanged in about a half a century. I stopped in 2 weeks ago having been a continent away for a decade, and Tony was managing the store as he had for decades. The patina of the oven is something you would be hard pressed to find even in New York’s Little Italy, and the warmth and character of this basic pizza establishment makes it one of my favorites anywhere in the world.
Awesome pizza. As for the rude comments, they have always been friendly. I ordered the pizza, they made it, I paid and left. Can’t ask for more than that.
Great pizza at cheap prices. Love this place. Don’t be put off, the staff who are made up of the family that owns it, aren’tthe warm and fuzzy type.
I love this place. I order from them at least twice a week. Everytime I walk in, the staff always greets me by name. The pizza is great, and incredibly cheap! Definitely one of my favorite places.
Al and Nancy. It’s the best, they make their own hot sausage…yummm! To get great pizza why do you need atmosphere? We drive from the far south, Peters twp area, and buy whole trays, my wife freezes individual cuts and we enjoy until its time for a another road trip…this pizza is not to be missed
Different. My husband’s family swears by this place. At first I didn’t like it at all, but lately it has grown on me.It’s carry out only, so be aware of that. The pizza tasted very salty to me — I guess it’s an acquired taste. Still, it’s very unique and a cult favorite in the area. Definitely worth trying twice.
Great pizza. Gotta love this place! It’s a garage that serves up a tasty, cheap, awsome simple pizza.
