🙁 Wanted very much to write a thumbs up review for a local business cooking fresh food. Coffee tasted like acid. Waffle had the consistency of soggy cardboard. Bacon? Burnt and soaking on the plate in a puddle of grease. Was charged $3 for a glass of OJ.
Waitresses talk about you. I continue trying this location out and time after time it seems that the staff is sub par. If they ever get to you with the order and drinks you are met with attitude and eye rolling. I have witnessed them talking about me behind the counter and been treated very adversely by the staff. Seems to me the place has really gone down hill on their hiring standards. Sometimes you are lucky enough to get a real waitress who knows what they are doing but for the most part it is a crap shoot.
Moody Waitress. I have been in the food industry for years and I have officially never had this bad of service. Our waitress not only took a long time getting us drinks, but she forgot some of them and when we reminded her nicely she rolled her eyes in disgust. Any time we asked for something (which was a whole 3 times) she would go up to the other servers and whisper and they would look at our table like we insulted her, I never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. I wouldn’t mind so much if she was busy, but she had enough time to talk to her friends that came in for ten minutes at a time before she would go get us the things we needed. I loved Deluca’s before this happened and it’s a shame they have this server. Hopefully when we go back it will be a better experience.
Very good breakfast!!!. I really enjoyed the breakfast that I had today while I was waiting for Ikea to open. The sausage gravy was excellent. I’ll eat there again when I’m in the area.
Surprise in a strip mall!. Heard some things about Deluca’s before but never knew exactly where it was. Place was crowded but they do a great job of moving people in and out. We were easily 4 or 5 in line for a table and it literally took under 5 minutes to be seated. The portions are massive and I give credit to everyone working there because the service was great. Very clean and you can tell everything is extremely fresh! Will go back!
Fratteta. It reminded me of the frittata that my grandmother used to make for us.
Average breakfast food. Large portions.. Standard breakfast food but in large portions. Don’t believe all the hype! At the downtown store, people line up down the street for the mountain of food. There is nothing special about the breakfast food served here. Just lots of it.
