Kinda Dirty. My husband and I just went today. We never were there before and saw all the commercials about it and wanted to try it. Everyone who worked there were very nice.. I ave nothing bad to say about them. The restaurant was very crowded and stuffy.. It looked like a cafeteria. Most of the food was dry or burnt. The mashed potatoes tasted like glue and the hush puppies tasted like charcoal. The restaurant seemed a little dirty but the bathroom was horrible. It smelled like old urine. I won’t go there again.
Sick To My Stomach……….the food is awful ….the mac n cheese is bland, the steak portions are too small…the place is WAY too small, it was stuffy, dirty, greasy, n our server was ignorant when asking to refill our drinks, like ok if u want a refill NOWS the time…..Golden Corral used to b my favorite place to eat, guess well give Fire Mountain our business from now on.
Good service lots of seating. Nice comfortable atmosphere not to mention the cheap price. Had a huge salad ! And it was great. Def worth my 10$ !
Good food and supports school fundraisers. My family eats at golden corral often.food is good.food is fresh.service workers are friendly.and it is also nice that they help with school fundraisers.both times i approached them for the school(on behalf of prom fundraising &science club fundraising)they came through without any hesitation;even in tough economic times.knowing they support local schools,gives me 1 more reason to support them.i tried york buffet in the same area recently and it was AWFUL.ive also eatten at fire mountain in the chippewa area.fire mountain used to be good but has went down hill ALOT.from now on for buffet food,we will choose golden corral.
This place is starting to look better. We stopped coming cause ho dirty is was becoming and how bad we were being treated. Breakfast buffet is really nice. JT our waiter is awesome. Then again he has always been. Remodeled looks very nice. I just hope the next time we come for dinner it is just as good.
Love it!!. I see that most of the previous posts say how awful this place is but can’t figure out why. Yes it’s true that it gets very crowded at times but last time I checked that was a sign of a good business. Some of the people who eat here may be a bit crude but I don’t see how that is the restaurants fault. It seems like they are making even more of their food from scratch and who does that these days. I think that for paying $13 and getting all you can eat steak, pan seared shirmp and everything else is a pretty good deal. My personal favorites are the mashed potatoes, pot roast and carrot cake. And it is really nice when we are eating with my niece. Not having to wait for her food and plenty of choices mean we will definitely be coming back!
My kids love this place and yes it was good at one point. It keeps going down hill. The food quality isn’t what it used to be like and all of the plates where dirty with either food particals or they were greasy. I notified the manager who told the dishwasher to switch them and wash them again. The first stack (by the salads) were switched, the second stack (by the hot foods and steak bar) remained. When my daughter and I went for thr first switched stack we seen they were still dirty. When I notified the manager again he offered to give us our money back, that’s not what I wanted. He went and got us clean plates. My husband and I both agree not to go back.
