I have been to the Hartwood 3 times, my first two experiences were fine. Service was ok and so was the food. Last evening,my husband and I went there for a belated Valentine’s dinner. Boy, was it disappointing. Service was awful. The waitress took our order and picked up the check. The food was brought to the table by the kitchen staff. My husband wanted another beer and couldn’t order it because our waitress was MIA. My food(which was a special) was terrible. It was tasteless. The ambiance is great. Maybe I’ll sit at the bar and get a burger.
Very good food; almost as good service. Somewhat long wait to be greeted by our server. The drinks, entree and dessert were fine. Service was good after the initial wait. I would return.
Stay away from this restaurant. Service is horrible. Management is indifferent. Restaurant has gone downhill since Eddie has left. Keep trying to give the restaurant more chances to.improve…but it is hopeless.

Give you a break. NO I won’t. don’t waste your time here as it’s not worth a visit. service is poor, lacking good management and the food is average with weak drinks. this place is quite costly for what they offer. most of the floor staff is inattentive to surroundings.
Tumbling further and further down. This place is terrible now. don’t waste your time unless you want something that is overpriced and mostly tasteless and at times comes out luke warm. so unless you like salty, oily food….especially in the pub then go… yes i used to come here a lot. but ownership seems not to really care about the business, just our money. waitstaff is poorly managed to.
