This place has been open for a few weeks and myself and several colleagues from work decided to sample it. Finding it was not hard and there was ample parking around the restaurant. Entering, we noticed that it is definitely following the footsteps of the Chipotle model – the look is very industrial and you go up to a counter to select your food choices that are either given to you directly, or delivered to your table.There is a very extensive salad bar from which you can build your own salads. The menu also features some prepared salad combinations, and there are a bunch of sandwiches available. On our visit, they had two combination specials which reduced the price from ordering the same items directly by about 50 cents, so not that big of a deal, but certainly convenient.All of us ended up ordering various sandwiches from the menu. Most of us ended up with fries as the side (are we yinzers, or what!?). We waited a few minutes at our table until the sandwiches were delivered by one of the wait staff to our table. While this method is efficient, the one guy who did most of the deliveries was overwhelmed. We noticed him bypass our table three times while carrying the dishes that were coming our way. It got to be funny.One of our party got the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. She does not like tomato soup so asked for a swan and this was agreed to. When her food came out – she got tomato soup! This was quickly fixed. Another one of our party ordered the mini-smiley cookies. Those did not come with her plate so she went to ask about them. 15 minutes later, she went back up again. Finally, she got the two small cookies promised.As far as the quality of the food, it really varied. Two of us got the same sandwiches. In one there was three times as much filling as the other. Why? About the only consistency in the food was that the french fries came in paper bags and were consistently good.While the salad bar looked tempting, based on this experience, I am not sure I will go there again.
