Tasty but underwhelmed. Went to celebrate two birthdays. Place was really quiet for a Sunday at6 pm. We barely sat down before we were rushed to order and the soup and salad were both brought at almost the same time. We ordered a cocktail and didn’t have time to enjoy it with both soup and a salad sitting in front of me. One of our party was still eating when the server asked us about take home boxes. We informed the server we had 2 birthdays and he said ice cream was available for $8! I think we must have misunderstood but we did not order anyway.Overall the food was good and portions generous but the service was just not there so I’d go somewhere else more relaxing.

Horrible management. My coach purse was on the floor under the table and when I picked it up at the end of my meal I put it on the chair then picked it up and I saw grease. Here there was grease on the bottom of my COACH purse. Long story short, management basically told me it was my fault and I should put my purse on the chair to which I showed him how it doesn’t fit there and he was still yelling at me and blaming me. I love their food, but will not return.

Done With This Place. I used to love coming to this location whenever I could because of the wonderful food and service. My girlfriend and I are often recognized by the hostesses and waiter/waitresses because of our frequent business. That’s all changing after my last experience. I was served bad steak, and was told by the manager essentially I was crazy, and it was just the stuff they cook it with. Sorry, steak doesn’t taste like feet. They cooked me another steak and it tasted a thousand times better. That was last Friday. Today I found out they charged me not only for my bill but FOR AN ADDITIONAL SEPARATE CHARGE OF $57.00, OVERDREW MY BANK ACCOUNT. Maybe other Ichiban restaraunts can handle simple things, like this one used to, but this place is going down the tubes, and has certainly lost my business forever.

Best hibachi by far. Ichiban is by far the best in terms of taste. I have never had a bad anything from there! My husband and I eat here probably about once a month and the service is always great and the food even better! Their portion sizes are huge! You get soup, salad, rice, shrimp app, noodles, and veggies with every hibachi dinner for a decent price. We have been to many other hibachi restaurants such as nakama, Yokoso, saga, dragonfire, katana, etc and none are as good as Ichiban!

Don’t waste your time. Ichiban was the worst hibachi I have ever been to. The food was horrible and the service was worse. The manager found it funny that the cook gave shrimp to someone with a seafood allergy after being told not to, twice. I will stick with Saga. I have never had a bad experience there.

Horrible!!!. Arrived at 6:30, waitress finally took order at 7:00. Had to ask 3x for our children’s apple juice. Everyone one at the table had there drinks and waters besides our kids. At 8:00 started asking when we could get food. We had our 2 small children there sitting at the hibachi table with us as we watched table after table come in and cook before us. Finally after trying to find a manager another gentlemen from our table had already talked with the manager they got someone to cook for us and the 2 other families at our table around 8:15. We didn’t even get full plates of food. We got NO vegetable’s and neither did our 2 and 4 year old because there wasn’t enough. We got about 2 spoonful’s of rice because of the portions given out. Children’s meals were suppose to come with ice cream and they weren’t even given that. Then at the end of all this we were charged full price. Ridiculous!!! Save your money go to another hibachi!

TERRIBLE. This past weekend I went to Ichiban in Robinson, Pa. The service was terrible from beginning to end. When me and my party first arrived they would not seat us. I made a reservation a week in advance for my birthday. They made us wait an extra 45 minutes after the time I requested. When we were sat our main server was the only one that was nice and well mannered. We all received our drinks and a member of the party got a daiquiri and it had chunks of ice in it. They told the waiter that they would like the drink remade, and when the bartender brought the daiquiri back to the table he caused a scene getting arrogant with the guest and slammed the drink on the table. All of the members of the party were upset and demanded to speak to the manager. When the manager came over he tried to down play the situation and patted the member of the party on the back trying to get them to get over it. We continued to stay through dinner because it was too late to go anywhere else since we waited to long to get seated. We finally got outer food, but there really was no show. The atmosphere was dry no music, no entertainment, and horrible service. I would highly suggest not eating at this ichiban. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They really need to start hiring new staff one by one. There are too many people that are looking for work for these people to act the way they did. And to add insult to injury these people weren’t Asian or minority they were Caucasian. So, it wasn’t like it was people who are Asian acting out because it’s their restaurant these were Americans just out right disrespectful and ignorant. Never again.
