Before I comment on the lunch buffet from my visit yesterday I want to say I have been to this restaurant a lot over the years and the pizza, especially the Sicilian and the Pan pizza have been very good. The regular pizza is good, too. Good enough that I would eat their more than a few times.The lunch buffet of the 30th though fell way below the standards in regards to the food I have had before.The pizza selection was very limited. One of the pizzas had cucumbers and tomatoes on it! If you wanted a red sauce pizza you were out of luck. The hoagies were very well done and the pasta just seemed like it sat out too long. I was there an hour talking with friends and the other pizzas that came out had tons of olives, hot peppers and white pizzas. I was hoping for a good old fashioned pepperoni pie and that never happened.I would caution anyone from choosing the buffet. You are better off ordering a pizza that you want from there.
Have been here many times in the past. The food typically has been good. I had the lunch buffet with my family and was disappointed. The hoagies were dry. I had to beg for a pizza with red sauce on it to be put out. They had veggie pizzas and other odd varieties instead. The pasta was bland. There just was not much to pick from. When we left one of my family members said they were still hungry. That should never happen. I will chalk this up as a lesson learned and not go there anymore.
