The best food I have ever tasted! Plan on lots of visits every time I am in Pittsburgh! Such a find!!! My favorites are the sandwiches and especially the gluton-free granola which is the only granola bars I have EVER liked. They make them by hand with honey and nuts and other secret stuff 🙂
Made from Scratch APPLE CAKE. Although I love everything I have tried at Life Is Sweet Bakery Caf, (and that is a lot 🙂 I have to admit that the Apple Cake is my favorite. It is unbelievably moist and heavy, filled with apples and the made-from-scratch batter like everything else made by them. The taste prompts memories of the 1950’s and grandma’s cakes (before store bought cake mixes were prevalent….. (Couldnt resist: 🙂 the picture is my grandparents, and that woman could really cook!)Just can’t say enough about this Life is Sweet Bakery Caf except I would recommend it to anyone who loves first class service, taste and quality.
