The Fox Chapel Loafer’s is a wonderful store! Clyde and the rest of the staff are so accommodating and helpful! They know me by name and bread reservation. Yes, call ahead and reserve your favorite loaf if you can’t get there early in the day! The only thing that could improve is to make it an eat-in store!
Take-Out Only. This is not like the Loaders in Wexford, PA. It’s the same company but it’s just a small storefront area that is take-out only. The quality is the same and they sell the same foods and have the same bread selection but you cannot sit down and eat inside the store.That being said, Loafers sandwiches are pretty good but kind of small. It might just be me but if I take the time to order a sandwich out I expect it to be a little bigger seeing as I can make an okay sandwich at home for a lot cheaper than buying one in a cafe. Their sandwiches ARE really good though and I usually put it on whatever bread is on special that day. Their granola is incredible and comes in big chunks that you can snack on easily. They have pretty good chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that aren’t nearly as sweet as most cookies you’re use to which is a good thing, I think.
