In that special group…of the worst pizza places I have ever been to.. One time, no more. A floating sea of grease and cheese and salt. No other discernible flavors. The dough was nearly raw, very gooey, and that was after waiting 30 minutes. Like Fiori’s, all of the hype was totally unwarranted. Mineos was some of the worst pizza I have ever had. When chain places like papa Johns, which would be cruel to serve to prisoners, have better pizza than you…you know you’ve got a serious problem.
Ocasional customer. I have been a mineos customer for 35 years.First at Squirrl hill and then at Mt.Lebanon.come and business go and this is why..I have always been satisfied with their product until reciently .I suppose there is a new manager as everything about the place is slipping a bit.Businesses come and businesses go and thats why. just like the romans mismanagement. crafton
Pricey$$ & Blaa. Heard the hype & read mixed reviews… So here’s my two cents, cause that’s all I have left after I paid for this pie. First off, it’s 2014. Who doesn’t take debit cards? Catch up Mineo’s! Second, $21. for a large pep delivered. That was just insulting after one or two bites, this tasted like an $8 pie at best. Nothing special at all. Heavy, to much cheese, Sauce and crust are average and I’m not a fan of pepperoni under the cheese. Finally, Delivery dude was too engaged with his phone to even say thanks for the tip, Now we’re up to $23. btw… For C+, Overpriced pie that’ll sit in your gut like a brick for days. Not gonna happen again.
Nobody. MEDIOCRE – At Best it’s a crap shoot, rude or not so rude service, (unless your a known regular) guess they don’t need anymore customers. Mt. Lebanon prices (you all know Exactly what I mean) resting on their Laurels. Plenty of other choices available locally where they appreciate your business – shame on them!
Consumer. We usually find Mineo’s of Mt Lebo exactly what we’re looking for. But, we found out the hard way, the only thing that’s been worth getting is the Pizza. We ordered Chicken Parm dinners…and yuck. The meat sauce was salty (we usually think of the sauce as marinara on this dish). The chicken was dry, the rigatoni was wayyy too much on the top. And, where the heck is the garlic on the garlic bread. Sorry Mineo’s we’ll stick with your pizza.
Pretty good Pizza. I heard it is Famous Pizza Place in Pittsburgh. So, we had high expectation.They only take Cash so we used ATM machine one’s in Store.Charge you $2-3 for that.Pizza was DELICIOUS.also,Cream Soda and Root Beer they sell is really good.
Disappointment. I have eaten at Mineo’s for years. Tonight a friend of mine went in and grabbed some so slices to go. When we got home the slices tasted like nothing but salt and the slices were about 1/2 the size as I’m used to. Gross! I couldn’t even eat a piece. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
