This is what coffee shops should be like: full of character, unique, and with great attention paid to the coffee as well as the food. The atmosphere is terrific: a comfortable old-but-renovated space (lots of warm wood) that’s small enough to be intimate but large enough that you’re not elbowing the person at the next table. It’s family-run, as in one of the family is almost always there behind the counter. Try a breakfast wrap, or a quiche and you won’t be disappointed. Easy parking with a large public garage just a few steps away — Orbis has become a local staple, and with good reason.

The Coffee was nothing special- the service was horrendous. I ordered a Toffee Nut Latte and the barista ridiculed by order making me second guess the choice. They then spilt coffee and syrup all over my cup prior to handing it to me. I had to go find napkins immediately to clean it up and then find somewhere to clean off my sticky hand. I will not be returning

VERY pleasantly surprised!. I started about a year ago with a cappuccino, and was impressed by the coffee. Then i came to do work one morning and had the oatmeal, and was surprised and impressed by the collection of fresh fruit and skinned nuts on top. Next came the vegan blueberry muffin – vegan shmegan that was GOOD. And now, 2 different soups in, I wish i owned this place. The drinks, food, people, everything is top notch and i don’t think i will ever leave. Yum!!!!

Great coffee and drinks. They train their baristas to make high quality coffee and it really makes a difference. Their food is always delicious, and different. Each month they feature a different country, which they base their Sunday brunches and monthy dinner off of. The staff is professional and always friendly!

Good coffee, but staff was unfriendly. Seems like this was an isolated experience, but we stopped in for coffee after purchasing pastries at a bakery down the street (without realizing that Orbis also had food). They had to brew the coffee while we waited, we sat and started in on the pastries. The woman working stared at us for awhile and finally said they’d prefer if we not bring food in. I apologized and explained it was our first time in and we didn’t realize they also sold food. We ended up asking for the coffees to go and she remained very unfriendly about the whole thing. Our mistake I know but they could definitely have handled it better.

Quiche. You have good quiches but today I tasted the duck and mushrooms and it is the best!

Great food, great coffee, and the owners are the kind of people it’s easy to support.
