The view was very nice and it was certainly convenient to go to after kayaking, but I would not seek this place out if I weren’t actually doing something right in north park. The best thing we ordered were the black bean cakes. My son’s fish tacos were just ok, and my shrimp salad was nothing to write home about. The service was poor; I had to ask other servers twice to get our server for various things. Over 1.5 hours for lunch.
Ate here for the first time today and it has fast become my new favorite restaurant! Great beers and drinks and delicious fresh food! Not to mention the location and views are wonderful! Can’t wait to try brunch and a weekend night for dinner!
BLT with Avocado and Fried Egg. Yum!08 Jan, 2015Special hidden gem. This is one of my regular stops. It is a fantastic scenic location year round. I like it as much in bad weather as good. It has found its footing and has done nothing but improve. They have craft cocktails, great rotation on tap and the food is good with daily specials and a happy hour. Try it you will love it.

Great addition to North Park!. My husband and I moved to South Hills so we do not get over to the north hills very often. After a Great Race nightmare of missing the shuttle and getting stuck in Steeler traffic, we decided to take our shirts and head to the park for a 10k run. We parked at the boat house and noticed the new restaurant which immediately trampled on our Mad Mex for post beers. We did our run and stopped in to check out the new place! My compliments start from the front door where the manager gave us a big welcome hug ( we knew her) and made sure we had a great seat on the outside deck to enjoy our afternoon beers. The beer list was impressive, consisting of popular craft beers both in season and just an all time favorite selection. We also decided to eat and ordered the hummus appetizer which was EXCELLENT. The hummus was freshly made with a chunky texture and fantastic flavor which was served with fresh hot pita slices. All of this was a great way to end a crazy morning. We left very satisfied with the service, beers, food and atmosphere. It is a must go to visit!!
First time at OTB North Park. We love OTB in Southside, so we made a special trip to check out the new location. Great atmosphere! Gorgeous lake view seating for lunch or dinner. Perfect for any occasion. Food was delicious. Great selection of pumpkin beers (after all, it IS fall!) Service was great. Definitely a must try!!
