Have been to this location a few times. Recent visit confirmed my thoughts. It is more than a little noisy. So many hard surfaces. Service is OK, typical of most dinners. Maybe a little less attentions then some of my more go to diners. The Pancakes are noted as special and are OK to me, but are more crepe like and sometimes a little firm.
Excellent food and even better service. Ce in unannounced with our hockey team and the took us no problem. Got every order right and everyone (including the kids) raved about the breakfast.
Retro-cafe look is cute but overdone. Service attentive and competent. Meal well prepared and fairly priced. Worth a second, maybe even a third visit.
Gross. I love the Pamela’s in the strip district but we finally went to the one in Mt. Lebanon and it was bad. I ordered blueberry hotcakes and the blueberries were frozen. I don’t mean they didn’t taste fresh, they were still actually frozen. Which in turn made my hotcakes cold. And the sour cream and brown sugar mixture inside wasn’t mixed at all so there were bites that were all sour cream and bites that were all brown sugar. It was bad. I would’ve complained but no one even asked us how are meals were. If you want to go to Pamela’s please take the time to go to the one in the Strip District.
Could be cleaner. Food is ok and priced ok but cash only is a bummer. And being so political is a huge turn off to me… That I just can’t seem to go back there. Businesses should keep their political agendas to themselves!
