What service. Last night we had the unfortunate experience with the same server I had last month. I thought maybe the other time it was just a fluke-although it was not busy the first night and it took forever to get any service along with poor food-my Mole’ was overcooked shredded chicken with a warm mole’ sauce. Last nigh we received our food in time increments-some were served and then 15 minutes later the remainder of the food arrived. when we finished we pushed all the dirty dishes off to the side to make some room on the table. The entire time our waitress passed us 10 times NEVER asking if we would like another drink or needed anything else-the first time she asked our drink order she forgot mine. I had to get up and get our take out containers and then had to go up and ask the hostess to get our waitress so we could get some plates and forks for birthday cake along with our bill. My food was average to poor-thin chicken I could have used for a shoe sole that was drowning in cheese sauce. Again, I have not witnessed such poor service in a long time-it made us feel very uncomfortable and two hours later we finally got out of there!!! They lost some good sales last night as each of us only had ONE drink because of her lack of concern. This is the third time we have had issues at this Patron-two service and food and one with being overcharged. I will never return.
Bland and no consistent.. I am really shocked this place gets good reviews. I was somewhat excited about them coming here, but the food is really not good at all. Just micro food. NOTHING fresh at all. I guess that is what Pittsburgh is used to? Horrible. The service is good and people are nice, but sorry, I can overlook the food. Been there several times because I really wanted to like it. Nope! For cheap tacos that is okay, but that is about it. No interest in going there again and I live in FC!
Great addition to the area!. I recommend the Carnita’s…perfectly prepared pork with all the fixins’. The service is great and the staff are so very friendly…you feel right at home. Great prices!
Atmosphere is fun, but my food was incredibly bland. No seasoning on the beef whatsoever. Service was sub-par, we ran out of nachos in about 5 minutes and never got offered more. After dinner, we asked to have our checks split and it took about 20 minutes for the waitress to figure it out. Margaritas were good, but I won’t be going back for the food.
They have really bad service they have really bad things and a cook there told me they spit in the food so I don’t really recommend people to go there the waiters are not really good to attend you and I had to go with the manager to get my plate off food and after that they brought it but all cold so I really don’t recommend it .
Wonderful and REAL. We LOVE Patron’s in the Fox Chapel Plaza. Atmosphere is terrific, wait staff is always personable, professional and quick. But obviously the very best is the FOOD which is as close to authentic Mexican you can get in the ‘burgh for sure. And the prices are reasonable too. The only reason to not go to PATRON’s is because you didn’t know it existed until now.
