Nothing Like the Commercial ! ! !. I wondered how they (The Red Lobster in Robinson) had the nerve to serve my husband what they did! He ordered the ‘All U Can Eat’ Shrimp special ($14.95 I believe). . . well, let me tell you, it’s NOTHING AT ALL like the commercial they paid boo coo bucks to advertise on TV! The shrimp were so tiny! I’m talking smaller than 1/2 my pinky finger (I’m only 5′ tall) and when he asked for more the girl brought him 6 TINY shrimp on a small bread plate. His 1st main dish (which weren’t any bigger and only a few more on a bigger plate) were gone in several minutes. Then it took rather long (for a so called ‘special’ ) to be served to him.Come on people, he’s a 6′ 180 lb MAN! Will be eating elsewhere on my next anniversary celebration!
I must say that I have never had a bad meal here. They cook seafood to perfection. I can’t stand when seafood is overdone…all rubbery and gross. Ate lunch here this past Monday and ordered Walts Favorite Shrimp. I have no complaints food wise but the ladies room smelled AWFUL like a sewer. Maybe they have plumbing issues? Oh my stars it was bad. Girlies: try to avoid the restroom and you’ll be okay.
Man Red Lobster had really gone down hill! Ate there last weekend and it’s just over priced microwaveable dinner!
Ding Ding Ding–Love it!!. That’s me ringing the bell (if there were one) I have been visiting this restaurant since the late eighties and although I always get the same–Fried Shrimp–it is always consistently delicious. Walt’s Shrimp is the best, extra crispy and yet tender…the Caesar Salad is good, they could replace the tough croutons with fresh, light, crispy home made ones…the dressing is tops!! Baked potatoes there are the best ever with the salt lightly crusting the skin and the inside texture is perfect…and of course–the garlic cheddar biscuits….YUM!! Need I say more? Well, I will–the servers are awesome and Yvonne has been hostessing there since way back when and she is a doll. Always a great experience…think I’m gonna go today!! Enjoy!!
!!!. I have never ever ever had a bad experience at ANY Red Lobster anywhere! Love it! Someone said if you want quality seafood go somewhere else…..well…it’s not trying to be Monterey Bay or Mitchells so relax.
Experience was somewhere between a little lackluster and downright mediocre. Slow service, punctuated with moments of sheer gut wrenching unprofessionalism. The food was ok, but, I doubt we will be returning
Red lobster went down hill over the years. You want quality seafood go somewhere else.
