We tried this place several times because we really love Thai, and while there are several tasty items, such as the many curries, on the menu, the negatives finally chased us away. Whether you order spicy 4 or spicy 9 it will be a 9 but if you order a 2 or 3 it will be a 1. Also, if you eat in, the place is always buzzing with fruit flies, and the servers are pretty much some of the least friendly people I’ve met in the service industry.
Ordered the Lad Nah. The spice level was a 5 out of 10. The food was so spicy that I could not eat it. I have ordered a couple times from Red Orchid before, and the food is spicier than other Thai places. Just keep that in mind when ordering.
Pad Thai Noodles and Chicken Teriyaki. Both of our dinners were amazingly tasteful and well prepared!!!!!!
Good Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was good and had a nice kick to it, but not too much to make it overbearing. It was a decent sized portion for the money. We will be back!
Chicken noodle soup. Went for lunch. This soup comes with your meal. I liked it so much that I ordered a second bowl.
Well I might recommend the teriyaki shrimp if I’d HAD IT.. Ordered the teriyaki shrimp but got served teriyaki chicken. Service was so automatic and impersonal that I didn’t bother having him fix it. The calamari was great though. I enjoyed it for the most part; I just wish I’d gotten what I ordered.
After doing my Xmas shopping, stopped over at red orchid . It has few tables and had to wait. My wait was worth as the lunch was fantastic simply fantastic. The noodles and the red curry sauce was exceptional. Hopefully they expand and make more room for customers.02 Dec, 2013I lve Thai and Japanese food. I will try this next.
