If you like to eat or drink salt, go to Rocky’s. I have not ordered food that many times from Rockys. But maybe twice in the last two years, I ordered the fish sandwich. It is good size, cooked nice and tasty.This past week, I ordered food two nights in a row for pick up. I ordered from the menu online. I spent $40 in two nights. BOTH times, their food was SO salty, I could not even finish it- it was HORRible.I called to speak with the owner (Rocky) about it. My intention was not to be irate, but just to indicate that he may be losing out on repeat business because of the quality of the food. The reception of all of them was evasive. Since I live only 2 minutes away, I decided to go there.When I spoke to Rocky, he basically didn’t want to hear ‘it.’ TERRible response.I was in food service for a number of years- understand good food- AND care about what customers think.Rocky is a TERRible businessman, caring NOTHING about his customers.MOST of his employees are rude and careless when it comes to pleasing the customers.I will NEVER go there again, and I urge ANYone reading this review to steer FAR away from Rocky’s Lounge!!!Primanti Brothers in the strip district is the place to go… PIZZA? Love it. Rocky’s is great. The food is always tasty and quick and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. You can’t beat the prices on great things like the fish sandwich (built for two) or the cajun grilled chicken salad. They also have a new chef that has an uncanny ability for baking. If you’re there and there is sweet potato cheesecake do NOT pass it up!
Great fish for sure. We stopped here to eat before a Cougar football game at Honus Wagner stadium because it was close. The atomosphere was nice and the place looks clean and friendly. The waitress recommended the fish and so we tried that – and wow, it was delicious and came with macaroni and cheese that was to die for! We will definitely go there again!!
