Extremely unprofessional. I ordered Sushi from them, specifically asking for no ginger and wasabi on the side (the taste of ginger makes me gag) for pick up. When I went to pick it up, not only was it not ready so I had to wait, when they finally had it made it had ginger and wasabi all over it. I asked to have it remade because I didn’t want any ginger or wasabi with it and they refused. I asked to see a manager and said I either wanted it remade or I wanted my money back. At first the manager refused, and I said give me my money back so I could go get it somewhere else down the street. After more fighting they said they would remake it, but I said I changed my mind and just wanted my money back because I didn’t feel like having my food spit in. They refused to give my money back, so my wife had to call another location to call them and tell them to give the money back (after which the manager of the first location said they voided the money after I left.) After that they called my wife to complain about me, no apologies whatsoever. Definitely don’t go to the Robinson location, but my wife said that the Cranberry location was very nice and professional while helping us sort this out.
Enjoyment coupon – Manager said no. We went to dinner Saturday evening and were unable to use a $10 coupon due to time restrictions, per the Manager. Our bill was much more than we imagined with the restaurant adding in the gratuity because we sat at the hibatchi bar. You would think that because we were 15 minutes from the time restrictions that management would allow this small savings so we would return. But honestly, we don’t ever plan on returning. It was not worth the money to us. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I like to go to saga on a regular basis, until recently or was awesome, people were great food was even better. The past few times we have gotten terrible waitresses, he would have his food and if have to wait another 10~15 for mine. Today I decided to just make steak and noodles at home and grab some of their pink dressing. I walked in and their was no one at the hostess station. I noticed a guy at the bar on his phone thinking he was a customer. A server went to the bat and got something, completely ignored me, a waitress was at the first table, and again ignored me. So after about 10 min a girl came in from outside and asked how many, and I told her I just wanted pink and she was very nice and went to get it, I stood up at the bar where you pay and the guy on his phone got up and came around and asked what I needed…. AFTER ALL THAT TIME HE WAS THE MANAGER! I told him no and he went back to his phone. I paid and left.
I went to saga in Robinson over the past weekend, I’ve been to every location and this is the only one I’m happy with. The service was great and they accommodated everything I needed. It was every busy and I feel like I still got great service !
Great Saturday. I was recently at the Robinson Twp. Hibachi on Saturday evening, and I have to say the service was amazing and the sushi was definitely fresh. My business associates and I sat in general dining and they were extremely busy and they did a wonderful job. The sushi rolls my business associates and I had were the dragon roll, the saga monster roll, and I believe the signature roll, along with some sashimi on the side, tuna, salmon, ebi, and eel. We will definitely be back, but with more people.
I am in sales and Saga is the #1 requested restaurant that my my customer request that I take them to. I am always pleased with the quality of service and food. I entertain all over of the city and Saga is a great venue.
No. find anything else.. Never again. Not clean. Sanitation was an afterthought. There are other hibachi restaurants that do it much better. Just because you pay a high price does not mean you that you need to think it was a great meal.
