We ate at Saucy Mamas at a wine festival, and the food was fantastic! We had hot sausage, pepperoni rolls, meatballs, and a chicken panini. All 4 were fantastic! And the chefs are so sweet – definitely Saucy Mamas ;-)We’ll definitely look for this food truck at any Pittsburgh events we attend!
Lasagna. My family and I enjoyed a large pan of lasagna. It had delicious sauce, hearty meat and pasta. It was delicious. It was the highlight of our Memorial Day meal. Thank you Saucy Mamas! I would definitely recommend the lasagna for lunch or take some home for dinner. The 3 women were very friendly and professional. The most courteous cooks around. Yum Yum
I purchased lunch for my entire team while they were parked by the humane society. They loved it. I had the meatball… It was great! The sausage sandwich and veggie panni were also huge hits.
LOVE THE SAUCY MAMAS!!!. They started coming to my job once a week. There is nowhere to eat around and their food is soooooo good. My co-worker says the chicken panini is the best she’s ever had. I can’t get enough of the meatball sub. The sauce is to die for. You can tell that everything is homemade. I only have 30 minutes for lunch and they get the food out fast. I can’t wait to try the lasagna. I am so glad that food trucks are finally making their way to the Burgh.
Not impressed. Just had an over priced Meatball sub at saucy mamas. the sauce is too thick…not true like real Italian gravy and the meatballs were little. they put only three on it and the sandwich was 8 dollars! then they give you a side of homemade potato chips,,,what is this fat heads? doesn’t go with the motif. not gourmet, not like grandmas and there are tons better bread makers in the city. Theirs tasted like the prepacked cellones! They need to gourmet it up and be more than backyard wedding quality. no thanks.
